The platform exists solely to highlight a small, editorially selected group of professionals for visibility and recognition purposes.
Editorial Selection & Curation
CityRanker selects a maximum of five (5) professionals per category per city. All selections are made through CityRanker’s internal evaluation and editorial review process.
Selection criteria may include, but are not limited to:
- Professional experience and longevity
- Public reputation and credibility
- Client visibility and presence
- Consistency of professional practice
- Overall brand and conduct standards
CityRanker retains sole and absolute discretion over all selection decisions. No professional has a right to demand inclusion, continuation, or reinstatement.
No Ranking, Rating, or Superiority Claims
CityRanker does not rank, rate, score, or compare professionals. Inclusion on the platform does not imply that a professional is the “best”, “top”, or superior to others in the same field.
Terms such as “Selected”, “Chosen”, or “Curated” indicate editorial inclusion only and must not be interpreted as endorsements or guarantees.
Representation Fees & Payments
Certain selected professionals may be invited to pay an annual representation fee. This fee covers platform presence, profile maintenance, digital certification, branding assets, and administrative costs.
Payment of any fee:
- Does not influence editorial selection
- Does not guarantee leads, visibility, or business outcomes
- Does not grant ownership or control over platform content
All fees paid to CityRanker are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written agreement.
No Business, Lead, or Revenue Guarantee
CityRanker makes no guarantees regarding:
- Leads or enquiries
- Client acquisition
- Revenue growth or conversions
- Professional success or commercial outcomes
The platform functions strictly as a recognition and representation medium.
Professional Information & Accuracy
All professionals featured on CityRanker are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and authenticity of the information provided.
CityRanker does not independently verify licenses, certifications, claims, or service outcomes and shall not be held responsible for inaccuracies or misrepresentations.
User Responsibility & Due Diligence
Users are advised to conduct their own independent verification, background checks, and due diligence before engaging with any professional featured on CityRanker.
CityRanker shall not be liable for disputes, losses, damages, misconduct, or dissatisfaction arising from interactions between users and professionals.
Intellectual Property Rights
All content on CityRanker, including but not limited to logos, branding, badges, certificates, text, layouts, graphics, and design elements, is the exclusive intellectual property of CityRanker.
Unauthorized copying, reproduction, resale, modification, or misuse of CityRanker intellectual property is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.
Profile Removal & Termination
CityRanker reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any profile without prior notice if:
- False, misleading, or exaggerated claims are identified
- Professional conduct is deemed unethical or harmful
- CityRanker standards are violated
- Platform terms are breached
- Continued association may harm CityRanker’s brand integrity
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CityRanker shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Use or inability to use the website
- Reliance on platform content
- Professional-user interactions
Modifications to Terms
CityRanker reserves the right to update, revise, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
