Our Selection Process
CityRanker follows a multi-layered editorial selection framework designed to evaluate professional credibility, ethical conduct, consistency, and long-term relevance within a specific city and category.
This framework is internally developed and proprietary to CityRanker, continuously refined to preserve quality, trust, and platform integrity.
Only five professionals per category per city are selected. CityRanker is not an open listing platform. Inclusion is based strictly on qualification-driven editorial evaluation, not applications, payments, or promotional influence.
CityRanker Editorial Assessment Model
Each professional is evaluated across multiple qualitative dimensions. CityRanker does not rank or score professionals publicly; instead, a holistic internal review determines final inclusion.

No misleading claims, exaggerated promises, or harmful practices.

Selection Roadmap
Step 1: City & Category Analysis
Our team studies the city, category landscape, and professional ecosystem to identify credible long-term practitioners.
Step 2: Background Review
Public information, professional history, reputation indicators, and brand consistency are evaluated internally.
Step 3: Editorial Assessment
Each candidate is reviewed against CityRanker’s internal benchmarks. Only top-aligned professionals proceed further.
Step 4: Final Curation
A strict cap of five professionals per city per category is enforced. No waitlists. No automatic replacements.
Step 5: Representation Invitation
Selected professionals may be invited for official CityRanker representation. Any representation fee, if applicable, is discussed after selection and does not influence inclusion.
